Leslie Kent is from Ontario, Canada and has involved herself with many musical endeavours over the last 25 years.
Leslie earned her Bachelor of Music in Sacred Music, vocal performance from the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago in 1999. Since that time, she has conducted numerous children’s choirs, taught voice, piano and brass privately and spent two years teaching music history to homeschool students online. She currently teaches young children in an Early Childhood Music Education program launched by a local children’s choir. Leslie obtained her Master of Music Education degree in the summer of 2020.
She considers her musical devotionals to be the perfect blend of her degree work: musical and biblical study.
Leslie continues homeschooling her five children in Southern Ontario, with the unwavering support of her husband, an AV/IT Specialist at a nearby university.
Leslie is currently working on Celebrate Easter with Bach’s St. Matthew’s Passion. In the future she hopes to write devotionals about Mendelssohn and Pergolesi .
